II39054FN00 - LA8061 Air Dryer air dryer is installed between the air compressor and the reservoir on buses and commercial trucks. They are designed to remove damp air and polluted air before they may access the vehicle's pneumatic systems farther down the road. The compressed air produced by the compressor must be delivered to up to seven different brake and ancillary circuits before being dried and cleaned. These circuits must be filled with up to three different pressure levels and protected from one another in order to constantly meet the strictest traffic safety standards.
